The Portland Police Bureau is Coming to NYC!
Portland Police Bureau (PPB) in Portland, Oregon will be conducting hiring interviews in New York on March 14, 2018. This opportunity would save you the cost of flying to Oregon for the interviews during the application process. If you are interested in attending the New York interviews, applicants must complete the following steps:
1) Schedule and take the Frontline Written Exam through www.nationaltestingnetwork.com. Ensure to select Portland Police Bureau, Police Officer position when scheduling the test.
This test is offered in Manhattan at the Alliance Computing Solutions, 545 8th Ave Ste 1210, New York, New York 10018 and several other locations in the U.S.
2) Submit the online application for the City of Portland Police Officer position at https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/portlandor
***Steps 1 and 2 must be done prior to January 22, 2018 at which time you will be placed on an official list of eligible candidates**
3) Complete and submit your Personal History Statement (PHS) no later than March 1, 2018, and note you want to participate in the New York interviews. This document and directions can be downloaded at https://www.joinportlandpolice.com/documents/
4) Upon receipt of the PHS, we will schedule interviews and the Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ)/California Psychological Inventory (CPI) on March 14, 2018, at the Courtyard by Marriott Manhattan-Central Park, 1717 Broadway, New York, NY 10019
