Officer Amy Bruner-Dehnert
Officer Amy Bruner-Dehnert is a native Oregonian and retired US Army veteran.
Amy has been with the Portland Police Bureau for more than 12 years, and has worked as a patrol officer on Central night shift, the Neighborhood Response Team officer for downtown and as the Crisis Intervention Team Coordinator for the PPB Behavioral Health Unit.
Amy is a Z-Man Scholar Mentor as well as a member of the Oregon Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) Council for Special Olympics.
Amy graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
Sergeant Chuck Lovell
Sergeant Chuck Lovell is native New Yorker and former member of the United States Air Force.
Prior to joining the Portland Police Bureau, Chuck was a consultant to the South Korean Government. He has been with the Police Bureau for 14 years, and has worked as a patrol officer, a School Resource Officer in the Youth Services Division and the Detective Division.
Chuck is also a member of the Portland Police Bureau’s Crisis Negotiation Team. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Park University.
Officer John Romero
Officer John Romero has been a Police Officer with the Portland Police Bureau for 10 years, working as a patrol officer and most recently, as a School Resource Officer.
John grew up in Bakersfield, California, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He became a Social Worker, working with Pregnant and Parenting Teens, Juvenile Probation, as well as coached high school football and baseball.
John is a certified GREAT instructor, a Z-Man Scholar Mentor, and participates in Camp Rosenbaum’s Youth Summer Camps.
