The Portland Police Bureau in Portland, Oregon will be conducting hiring interviews in New York on September 13, 2017.
All applicants interested in attending the New York interviews must complete the following steps:
1.) Schedule and take the Frontline Written Exam through www.nationaltestingnetwork.com.
You must select the Portland Police Bureau, Community Police Officer position when scheduling the test.
This test is offered in Manhattan at the Alliance Computing Solutions, 545 8th Ave Ste 1210, New York, New York 10018 and several other locations in the U.S.
The test must be completed prior to applying for the position.
2.) Submit the City of Portland online application for the Community Police Officer Position
***Steps 1 and 2 must be done prior to July 3, 2017 at which time you will be placed on an official list of eligible candidates**
3) Complete and turn in your Statement of Personal History (SPH) no later than August 11, 2017.
The SPH can be submitted via email to PPBSPH@portlandoregon.gov or by mail to Personnel: SPH, 1111 SW 2nd Ave, Portland, OR 97204. Note on the SPH you would like to interview in New York.
4) Upon review of the Statement of Personal History
We will schedule 32 applicants for an interview and the Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ)/California Psychological Inventory (CPI) on September 13, 2017 at the Courtyard by Marriott Manhattan-Central Park, 1717 Broadway, New York, NY 10019
