The Portland Police Bureau will conduct hiring interviews in New York City on September 19, 2018.
This opportunity saves East Coast applicants the cost of travelling to Oregon for the application interview. To participate in the New York interviews, please complete the following steps:
1) Schedule and take the NTN Frontline Written Exam through www.nationaltestingnetwork.com. Ensure to select Portland Police Bureau, Police Officer position. This test is currently offered at locations all over the U.S., to include Manhattan.
2) Submit the online application for the City of Portland Police Officer position at https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/portlandor
***Steps 1 and 2 must be done prior to July 20, 2018 to be placed on an official list of eligible candidates**
3) Submit your Personal History Statement (PHS) by August 19, 2018. This document and directions can be downloaded at https://www.joinportlandpolice.com/documents/
4) Upon receipt of a completed PHS, your interview will be scheduled on September 19, 2018 in New York, NY
